Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Good Monk. This Shipping Policy explains how and when orders are processed and delivered.

Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day. Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information where available.

Domestic Shipping (South Africa)
We ship nationwide within South Africa using reputable courier partners.
Estimated delivery times:
Major metropolitan areas: 2–5 business days
Outlying or rural areas: 3–7 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

International Shipping
We offer international shipping to selected countries.
Estimated delivery times:
International orders: 7–21 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance

International customers are responsible for:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- VAT or other charges imposed by the destination country

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee.

Shipping Rates
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on:
- Delivery location
- Order size and weight
- Selected shipping method

Shipping costs are non-refundable, except where an error has occurred on our part.

Address Accuracy
Please ensure that all shipping details are accurate at checkout.
We are not responsible for:
- Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Orders delivered to the address provided by the customer

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply.

Delivery Issues & Delays
While we aim to deliver all orders within the estimated timeframes, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for delays caused by:
- Courier service disruptions
- Customs clearance delaysNatural events or force majeure

Damaged or Missing Packages
If your order arrives damaged or if items are missing, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by contacting: seeking@thegoodmonk.org.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the packaging and item(s)
- A brief description of the issue
- Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for review.

Failed Deliveries
If delivery is unsuccessful due to:
- Customer unavailability
- Incorrect address details
The package may be returned to us or held by the courier.
Re-delivery fees may apply.
